The secret is that this smoothie has an unusual ingredient: mashed sweet potatoes.

Orange Smoothie with a Secret

1 cup frozen fat-free vanilla yogurt
1/2 cup cold mashed sweet potatoes
1 cup orange juice
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  1. In blender container, combine all ingredients. Blend on high until smooth. Serve immediately.

Makes 2 servings.

Variation: Banana Orange Smoothie: Add 1 small ripe banana and 1 cup orange juice; blend as above. Makes 3 (8-ounce) servings.
