A blender-quick and easy yogurt egg nog that is quite delicious. Made with ingredients typically on hand, entertaining unexpected guests during the winter holiday season is a snap with this recipe.
1 cup plain yogurt
1 cup cold milk
2 large fresh eggs*
1 1/2 tablespoons granulated sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
Pinch of salt
Nutmeg for sprinkling
- Combine all ingredients in blender container. Cover and blend until thoroughly mixed.
- Serve with a sprinkling of nutmeg, if desired.
Makes 3 servings.
*Please exercise caution when using raw eggs that are uncooked in prepared food. We suggest using a pasteurized egg product for this recipe.
