Buttermilk Wheat
Bread
- 1 cup buttermilk, slightly warmed
- 1 large egg
3 cups plus 2 tablespoons whole wheat flour
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 1/2 teaspoons active dry yeast
- Place ingredients in the bread machine
pan in the order suggested by the manufacturer.
- Select Whole Wheat bread cycle and start
machine.
Makes one (1 1/2 pound) loaf.
