Recipe for bread machine.

Hearty Winter Bread

7/8 cups water

2 tablespoons butter or margarine

1 large egg

1/4 cup molasses

1/4 cup cornmeal

1 teaspoon salt

2 3/4 cups white bread flour

2/3 cup whole wheat flour

2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast

1. Place ingredients in order given by manufacturer of your bread machine.
2. Select Sweet or Basic setting and desired Crust Color setting; press start.

Makes one (2 pound) loaf.
