Honey-Wheat Muffins

2 cups whole wheat flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 large egg
3/4 cup milk
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup honey
  1. In a large bowl, combine whole wheat flour, baking powder, and salt; make a well in the center.
  2. In another bowl, combine together egg, milk, oil, and honey; add to the dry ingredients, stirring just until moistened. Spoon into greased muffin tins, filling two-thirds full.
  3. Bake at 400*F for 20 minutes.

Makes 1 dozen muffins.
