Honey Tea Bread.

Great bread to serve for afternoon tea or as a mid-morning snack toasted and served with butter and jelly.

Honey Tea Bread

2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
3/4 cup milk
1/2 cup honey
1/4 cup NESTEA® Unsweetened Instant 100% Tea
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease 9 x 5-inch loaf pan.
  2. Combine flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and ginger in small bowl. Beat milk, honey, Nestea, vegetable oil, egg and vanilla extract in large bowl until tea is dissolved. Gradually stir in flour mixture until moistened. Pour into prepared pan.
  3. Bake for 45 to 60 minutes or until wooden pick is inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan on wire rack for 10 minutes; remove to wire rack to cool completely.

Makes 1 loaf (16 servings).
