Try this delicious and fun way to dress up a plain loaf of bread. It's an easy and quick alternative to standard garlic bread. This bread recipe can also be prepared on the grill over indirect heat.

Hot Cheese Bread

1 (11-ounce) package STOUFFER'S® Welsh Rarebit, defrosted according to package directions
1 (16-ounce) loaf Italian or French bread, unsliced
  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Slice bread into 3/4-inch slices to within 1/4-inch of bottom crust. Be careful not to slice through the bottom of the crust.
  3. Spread welsh rarebit on both sides of each slice. Wrap loaf in foil, keeping top exposed.
  4. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until bread is browned and crispy.

Makes 24 servings.
