- A hearty yeast oat bread sweetened with
maple syrup. A recipe for bread machines.
Maple Oat Bread
- 1 5/8 cups water
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 large egg
3 cups bread flour
1 1/2 cups oats
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 1/2 teaspoons gluten (optional)
- 1 1/2 teaspoons active dry yeast
- Place ingredients in the bread machine
pan in the order suggested by the manufacturer.
- Select Basic bread cycle and start machine.
Makes a 2 pound loaf.
