Maple Oat Bread
A delicious and hearty, oat yeast bread sweetened with maple syrup. A recipe for bread machines.
1 5/8 cups water
1/2 cup maple syrup
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 large egg
3 cups bread flour
1 1/2 cups oats
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 1/2 teaspoons gluten (optional)
1 (0.25-ounce) packet active dry yeast, or 2 1/4 teaspoons
- Place ingredients in the bread machine pan in the order suggested by the manufacturer.
- Select Basic bread cycle and start machine.
Makes 1 (2 pound) loaf.
