Peanut Butter Muffins

2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 cup creamy peanut butter
1 large egg
1 1/4 cups milk
3/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Cupcake wrappers
  1. In a large bowl, mix together flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder. Cut in creamy peanut butter until well blended.
  2. In a small bowl beat egg with milk and pour into the flour mixture, stirring just until blended. Stir in chocolate chips. Pour the batter into a muffin tins lined with cupcake wrappers.
  3. Bake in 350*F oven for 15 to 25 minutes, or until the centers are set and the tops lightly browned.

Makes 1 dozen muffins.
