There's nothing quite like the tangy taste
of a warm slice of sourdough bread...and it makes great sandwiches
too! This recipe is written for bread machines.
Sourdough Bread
1 1/4 cups sourdough
starter
3/4 cup warm water
4 cups bread flour
1 3/4 teaspoons salt
3 tablespoons granulated sugar
1 3/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
Place ingredients in the bread machine
pan in the order suggested by the manufacturer.
Select Basic bread cycle and start machine.
Makes one (2 pound) loaf.
