Treat your family to homemade banana and sour cream waffles.

Banana Sour Cream Waffles

1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 tablespoon granulated sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 large egg yolk, beaten
1 cup sour cream
1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup butter, melted
1 medium banana, mashed
1 large egg white, whipped
2 tablespoons vegetable oil

1. Sift together flour, sugar, baking powder, soda, and salt; set aside.
2. Mix together beaten egg yolk, sour cream, milk, melted butter, and mashed banana. Add to the flour mixture, mixing well.
3. Fold in stiffly whipped egg white.
4. Pour into a well-greased, preheated waffle iron and cook until golden brown.

Makes 4 servings.
