Sprinkled with powdered sugar or drizzled with syrup, you'll
never taste anything quite so grand!

Cristo French Toast
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
2 large eggs, well beaten
8 slices raisin bread
- In bowl combine flour,
baking powder and salt. Stir in milk and eggs; beat well.
- Cut each bread slice in
thirds.
- Dip strips if bread in
batter and fry in 1/2-inch of oil in a large skillet, until golden
on both sides. Remove, drain and place in a shallow pan in a
heated oven until all are cooked. Serve hot.
