Strawberry Breakfast Salsa
Serve this fresh strawberry salsa over pancakes, waffles, French toast, hot cereal, or mix into vanilla or plain yogurt.
Recipe Ingredients:
1/3 cup apricot jam
3 tablespoon water
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 pint baskets California strawberries, stemmed and cut into 1/4-inch diced
Cooking Directions:
- In medium bowl whisk jam, water and cinnamon, add strawberries. Toss gently to combine.
Makes 4 servings.
Nutritional Information Per Serving (1/4 of recipe): 147 calories; 2 g protein; 1 g fat; 36 g carbohydrate; 4 g fiber; 0 mg cholesterol; 7 mg sodium.
