Sudden Quiche.

'Sudden Quiche' was made famous by Howard Helmer, the "Egg Ambassador" for the American Egg Board. Howard, holder of the Guiness World Record for fastest omelet maker, travels the world educating people about how to cook and enjoy eggs.

Sudden Quiche

2 cups filling of choice (We used 10 asparagus spears and 1/2 cup sautéed mushrooms)
1 (9-inch) deep-dish frozen pie shell
6 Large Chino Valley fresh eggs
1 cup milk
1 cup grated cheese
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Place filling in bottom of pie shell.
  3. Mix eggs, milk and cheese and pour over filling.
  4. Bake 40 minutes or until knife inserted in the center comes out clean, Let stand 5 minutes before serving.

Makes 6 servings.

Filling suggestions: Cooked, chopped vegetables, meat, seafood or poultry.

Cooking Tip: Leftover quiche microwaves well and makes a great breakfast or lunch.
