Whole Wheat Waffles

1 cup whole wheat flour
1 cup all-purpoes flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon baking powder
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
2 large eggs, beaten
2 cups milk
1/2 cup butter, melted
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine whole wheat flour, flour, salt, baking powder, and sugar.
  2. In another bowl, mix together beaten eggs, milk, and melted butter. Mix well, and add to the flour mixture, beating until combined.
  3. Cook in a waffle iron until golden brown.

Makes 4 servings.
