Chocolate Frosting
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 3 cups powdered sugar
- 3 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Melt butter in a large microwave safe bowl; stir in cocoa. Add powdered sugar alternately with milk and vanilla, beating to spreading consistency.
Frosts and fills an 8 or 9-inch layer cake or 1 (13 x 9-inch) cake.
