Luscious Three-Step
Cake
- 1 (18.25-ounce) package
German chocolate cake mix
- 1 can sweetened condensed
milk
- 1 (12-ounce) container
non-dairy whipped topping
- 4 Heath candy bars, crushed
(chocolate covered toffee bars)
- Mix and bake the cake
according to package directions, using 9 x 13-inch pan.
- While cake is hot, poke
holes with a fork all over the top of the cake. Spread the sweetened condensed milk
all over top of the
cake so it will seep down the holes. Cool completely.
- Frost with whipped topping.
Sprinkle crushed Heath bars over top. Refrigerate.
Makes 15 to 18 servings.
Note: I have tried the toffee bits
in place of the crushed Heath
bars and it is not as good!
