Luscious Three-Step Cake

1 (18.25-ounce) package German chocolate cake mix
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 (12-ounce) container non-dairy whipped topping
4 Heath candy bars, crushed (chocolate covered toffee bars)
  1. Mix and bake the cake according to package directions, using 9 x 13-inch pan.
  2. While cake is hot, poke holes with a fork all over the top of the cake. Spread the sweetened condensed milk all over top of the cake so it will seep down the holes. Cool completely.
  3. Frost with whipped topping. Sprinkle crushed Heath bars over top. Refrigerate.

Makes 15 to 18 servings.

Note: I have tried the toffee bits in place of the crushed Heath bars and it is not as good!
