Pineapple
Cake
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 (20 ounce) can pineapple
with juice
- 1 cup pecans
- Combine eggs and sugar;
add remaining ingredients and mix
well.
- Bake in 9 x 13 x 2-inch
cake pan and bake for 30 minutes at 350*F (175*C) degrees.
Frosting:
- 1 (8-ounce) package cream
cheese
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- Combine all ingredients
and spread on cooled cake.
