Pineapple Cake

Cake:
2 large eggs
2 cups granulated sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 (20 ounce) can pineapple with juice
1 cup pecans
 
Frosting:
1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese
1/4 cup butter
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups powdered sugar
  1. Combine eggs and sugar; add remaining ingredients and mix well.
  2. Bake in 9 x 13 x 2-inch cake pan and bake for 30 minutes at 350°F (175°C).
  3. For Frosting: Combine all ingredients and spread on cooled cake.

Makes 12 servings.
