Vanilla Buttercream Frosting

No recipe image available.A creamy vanilla buttercream frosting that tastes as good as it is easy to whip together. You'll never want to buy a can of store-bought frosting again.

Recipe Ingredients:

1/3 cup butter, softened
4 cups powdered sugar
3 to 4 tablespoons milk
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Cooking Directions:

  1. In large bowl, beat butter, powdered sugar, milk and vanilla until smooth. Add additional milk, if necessary, 1 teaspoon at a time until frosting is desired spreading consistency.

Frosts and fills an 8 or 9-inch layer cake, or 1 (13x9x2-inch) cake, or 24 cupcakes.
