Aunt Maude's Chocolate Bonbons
- 6 cups powdered sugar
3 cups finely chopped walnuts
2 (16-ounce) packages flaked coconut
1 (14-ounce) can evaporated milk
1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups milk or semisweet chocolate chips
1/4 pound paraffin

Aluminum foil
- In a bowl combine powdered sugar, walnuts, coconut, sweetened condensed milk, melted butter and vanilla. Mix well and set aside.
- In a double boiler, melt chocolate chips and paraffin. Roll the coconut mixture into 1-inch balls and dip into the hot chocolate mixture. Use a wooden pick to dip the bonbon. Place on aluminum foil to dry.
Makes about 24 candies.
