Bill's Bean Fudge
Bill's secret ingredient makes this no-cook fudge a healthier choice for sweet confections.
Recipe Ingredients:1/2 cup unsweetened baking cocoa
1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons butter
1 2/3 cups mashed pinto beans
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 pounds powdered sugar
- Melt together unsweetened baking cocoa and butter. Mix in thoroughly drained and mashed pinto beans, vanilla, and powdered sugar.
- Place in a buttered, 9-inch baking pan and chill until firm.
Makes about 48 pieces.
