That's right...cheese fudge!
It's cheesy...but it's creamy and surprisingly good!

Dish Cheese Fudge
- 1/2 pound (2 sticks; 1
cup) butter
1/2 pound (2 cups) Wisconsin Pasteurized Processed cheese
2 pounds powdered sugar
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 tablespoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup white chocolate chips
1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
- Melt the butter and cheese
together in a big bowl in the microwave (or melt in a pan over
low heat on the stove).
- Add sugar, cocoa and vanilla
to melted mixture. Stir with a wooden spoon or work with your
hands until all the ingredients are well mixed.
- Pat into a 9-inch pan.
Sprinkle the chips and nuts over top. Pat lightly into fudge.
Chill until firmly set.
- Cut into small squares
to serve.
Makes 72 (1-inch) squares.
