A quick and great tasting cookie! This simple recipe for moist and chewy coconut macaroons couldn't be easier.
2/3 cup NESTLÉ® CARNATION® Sweetened Condensed Milk
3 cups sweetened or unsweetened shredded coconut
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Blend in a bowl the sweetened condensed milk, shredded coconut, and vanilla.
- Drop by tablespoonfuls onto a well greased baking sheet.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) until light brown, about 8 to 10 minutes. Remove from the pan at once and cool on a wire rack.
Makes 2 dozen macaroon cookies.
For Coconut Chocolate Chip Macaroons: Stir into dough 1/4 cup (1 1/2 ounces) NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Semi-Sweet Chocolate Mini Morsels. Proceed as above.
