Chewy, pure maple syrup
walnut cookies with just a hint of molasses.
Maple
Nut Cookies
- 1 cup pure maple syrup
1 tablespoon molasses
1 cup butter, softened
3 large eggs
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup walnuts, chopped
- In a bowl, with an electric
mixer at medium speed, cream together maple syrup, molasses,
butter, and eggs. Stir in flour and chopped walnuts.
- Drop by teaspoonfuls 2
inches apart onto ungreased baking sheets.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C)
for 7 to 10 minutes or until golden brown.
Makes 36 cookies.
