Melting Moment Cookies

No recipe image available.These amazing frosted butter cookies are so tender, they practically melt-in-your-mouth.

Recipe Ingredients:

Cookies:
1 cup all-purpose flour
3/4 cup cornstarch
1 cup butter
1/3 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Frosting:
1 cup powdered sugar
1 tablespoon melted butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 to 2 tablespoons milk

Cooking Directions:

  1. For Cookies: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In small bowl combine flour and cornstarch; set aside.
  3. Cream butter, powdered sugar and vanilla. Stir in flour/cornstarch mixture.
  4. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto lightly greased baking sheets. Bake for 12 to 14 minutes. Watch carefully! Transfer to wire racks.
  5. For Frosting: While cookies are baking, combine powdered sugar, melted butter and vanilla. Add enough milk for spreading consistency. Spread on warm cookies.

Makes 2 dozen cookies.
