What kid could resist these cookies?!!
1/2 cup canola oil
1/2 cup canola margarine
1 cup brown sugar, packed
1 cup granulated sugar
3 large eggs
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 1/2 cups rolled oats
1 cup candy-coated chocolate pieces
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup chopped pecans
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Beat canola oil, margarine, brown sugar, granulated sugar, eggs and vanilla extract until light and fluffy.
- In a separate bowl combine flour, salt and baking soda, then add to the egg mixture. Fold in the oatmeal, candy coated chocolate pieces, chocolate chips and pecans.
- Drop by tablespoonfuls 1 1/2 to 2-inches apart onto a non-stick or lightly greased baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes until golden brown.
Makes 36 cookies.
