A pudding for any occasion, whether to warm up their wintry days, or cool down their summer sweet tooth!

Chutney Rice Pudding

1 cup water
1/2 cup basmati rice, uncooked
1 1/2 cups milk
1 (9-ounce) jar CROSSE & BLACKWELL® Apple Curry Chutney
1/4 cup golden raisins
2 tablespoons chopped pistachio nuts, chopped
  1. Combine water and rice in medium saucepan; bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low; cover. Cook for 8 minutes.
  2. Stir in milk; increase heat to medium. Uncover; stirring occasionally, for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to low; stir in chutney and raisins. Cook, stirring constantly, for 5 minutes. Sprinkle with nuts before serving. Pudding can be served warm or cold.

Makes 2 3/4 cups.
