A delicious, creamy frozen
fruit dessert, or a side dish...it's your call.
Cranberry
Frost
- 1 cup cranberries, finely
chopped
1 apple, peeled, cored and finely chopped
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 (11-ounce) can mandarin orange sections, well-drained, coarsely
chopped
1 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup whipping cream, whipped
- Combine cranberries, apple
and sugar; let stand 5 minutes or until sugar dissolves.
- Add orange sections, sour
cream and vanilla; mix well.
- Fold in whipped cream.
- Pour into 8 x 4-inch loaf
pan; freeze until firm.
- Unmold; cut into slices.
- Allow to stand at room
temperature 15 minutes before serving.
