Peach Ice Cream
This homemade peach ice cream is so good—it's peachy-creamy good!
3 cups peeled, mashed fresh peaches
3/4 cup granulated sugar
5 cups milk
2 cups whipping cream
1 (14-ounce) sweetened condensed milk
1 (12-ounce) can evaporated milk
1 cup granulated sugar
3 tablespoons vanilla extract
- Combine peaches and 3/4 cup sugar in a large bowl; mixing well. Add milk and remaining ingredients and mix well.
- Pour peach mixture into freezer container of a 5-quart, hand-turned or electric freezer. Freeze according to manufacturer's instructions.
- Pack, freezer with additional ice and salt, and let stand 1 hour before serving.
Makes 1 gallon.
