Strawberry Ice Cream

Strawberry Ice CreamCombined with evaporated milk, sugar and lemon juice strawberries make the perfect hot weather treat.

Recipe Ingredients:

2 cups unsweetened strawberry pulp*
2 (12-ounce) can NESTLÉ® CARNATION® Evaporated Milk
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
2 teaspoons lemon juice

Cooking Directions:

  1. Combine strawberry pulp, evaporated milk, sugar, lemon juice and salt in large bowl. Pour into ice cream maker; freeze according to manufacturer's directions.

Makes 16 servings.

Any soft, juicy fruit or berry may be used. If using sweetened frozen berries, reduce sugar to 1/2 cup.
