
Pineapple sautéed
in sugar and topped with cream makes a quick, easy and delicious
dessert.

Pineapple Sauté
- 1 pineapple, peel core
and cut into wedges
1 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup butter
- In a heavy skillet melt
butter and add sugar.
- Add the pineapple wedges
to the syrup and brown on each side for about two minutes and
remove.
- To make the sauce, add
heavy cream to the pan and blend with the syrup.
- Serve the sweet sauce
over the pineapple.
Makes 6 to 8 servings.
