Who can resist warm maple syrup? Now you can enjoy it. Made with Equal, this recipe has 72% less calories. Pancakes, French toast and waffles never tasted better.
Maple Flavored Syrup
- 1 cup apple juice
2 1/2 teaspoons cornstarch
1 tablespoon stick butter or margarine
1/4 cup Equal® Spoonful*
1 teaspoon maple flavoring
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Combine apple juice and cornstarch in small saucepan. Bring to boiling, stirring constantly. Boil and stir 2 minutes. Remove from heat.
- Stir in butter, Equal®, maple flavoring and vanilla. Serve over pancakes, waffles or French toast.
Makes 12 servings.
* May substitute 6 packets Equal sweetener
