Raspberry Sauce

No recipe image available.A beautiful, rich looking, red sauce perfect for topping fresh fruit, cheesecake or frozen yogurt. Enjoy it because it has 45% less calories than the traditional recipe.

Recipe Ingredients:

2 cups fresh raspberries or thawed frozen unsweetened raspberries
1 tablespoon orange juice
3 tablespoons Equal® Spoonful*
1/2 teaspoon finely grated orange peel

Cooking Directions:

  1. Place raspberries in blender container; cover. Process until smooth. Strain through sieve; discard seeds. Stir orange juice, Equal® and orange peel into puréed berries.
  2. Serve over fresh fruit, frozen yogurt or cheesecake.

Makes 8 servings.

*May substitute 4 packets Equal sweetener
