Tangy Orange Sauce
No sugar added, sweet and tangy orange sauce.
1/2 teaspoon finely shredded orange peel
1/2 cup orange juice
1/3 cup chicken broth
1/4 cup sliced green onion
2 teaspoons cornstarch
1/4 teaspoon dried basil, crushed
1/8 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
2 packets Equal® sweetener or 3/4 teaspoon Equal® for Recipes
- In a saucepan, combine peel, orange juice, broth, green onion, cornstarch, basil, salt and pepper. Cook and stir till thickened and bubbly. Cook and stir for 2 minutes more.
- Remove from heat. Stir in Equal® sweetener.
Makes about 1 cup; 16 (1 tablespoon) servings.
