
BBQ Beef 'n' Cheese Cups
Your kids will love these easy, fun-to-eat biscuit cups filled with barbecue-flavored ground beef and cheddar cheese. Makes great party food, too!
Recipe Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup barbecue sauce
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper
1 tablespoon brown sugar, firmly packed
1 (10-count) can refrigerated biscuits
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese - divided use
Cooking Directions:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (205°C). Grease 10 muffin cups.
- In large skillet, cook ground beef, onion and bell pepper until thoroughly cooked. Remove from heat and drain. Stir in barbecue sauce, brown sugar and 1/2 cup cheese.
- Meanwhile, separate dough into 10 biscuits. Place 1 biscuit in each greased muffin cup; firmly press in bottom and up sides, forming 1/4-inch rim. Spoon about 1/4 cup beef mixture into each biscuit-lined cup. Sprinkle each with remaining cheese.
- Bake in a preheated oven at for 10 to 12 minutes or until edges of biscuits are golden brown. Cool 1 minute; remove from pan.
Makes 10 servings.
