Creamy, salty blue cheese makes a welcome addition to hamburgers. Grill or pan-fry these tasty burgers.

Blue Cheese Burgers

1 pound lean ground beef
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
3 ounces blue cheese, crumbled
1 tablespoon olive oil
4 burger buns
  1. Combine beef and Worcestershire sauce in a bowl. Mix well and form into 4 equal balls.
  2. Divide blue cheese into 4 equal portions. Make an indentation with your thumb on each ball of meat. Press a portion of cheese into the indentation and seal over with surrounding meat. Gently flatten into a patty.
  3. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add oil and cook burgers about 5 minutes per side, or until thoroughly cooked.
  4. Serve on buns with your favorite condiments.

Makes 4 servings.
