Blue Cheese Hamburgers
Crumbled blue cheese is mixed into these tasty ground beef patties.
1 1/2 pounds ground beef
2 tablespoons blue cheese, crumbled
1/4 cup onion, chopped
1/4 cup evaporated milk
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
6 hamburger buns, split and toasted on the grill
- Preheat barbecue grill.
- In a large bowl mix together ground beef, crumbled blue cheese, chopped onion, evaporated milk, salt, Worcestershire sauce, and pepper. Shape into 6 patties, each about 3/4-inch thick.
- Grill 4-inches from the heat, turning once, until done, about 10 to 15 minutes.
- Serve with hamburger buns, sliced tomato, lettuce, or other condiments of your choice.
Makes 6 servings.
