Ground Beef Fajitas
Fajitas—fast! Fast as you can brown the ground beef, onion and bell pepper and stir in the ready-made salsa.
1 pound lean ground beef
1 large onion, cut into thin wedges
1 green or red bell pepper, cut lengthwise into thin strips
1 cup chunky, home-style salsa
2 teaspoons chili powder
8 medium flour tortillas
Chopped green onion
- In large nonstick skillet, brown ground beef, onion and bell pepper over medium heat 8 to 10 minutes or until beef is no longer pink, stirring occasionally. Pour off drippings.
- Stir in salsa and chili powder. Reduce heat to low; cook 5 minute, stirring occasionally.
- Serve in tortillas with choice of toppings.
