Mexican-Style Skillet Pizza.

This 'pizza' has the crust on top instead of on the bottom. Serve with carrot and celery sticks and ice cream sundaes for dessert.

Mexican-Style Skillet Pizza

1 (16-ounce) jar tomato salsa
1 1/2 pounds ground beef, cooked, crumbled and drained
1 2/3 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese - divided use
1 (10-ounce) package refrigerated pizza dough
  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Combine fully cooked ground beef and salsa in large ovenproof skillet; top with 1 1/3 cups cheese. Place pizza dough over beef; trim dough to fit top of skillet. Sprinkle top of dough with remaining cheese.
  3. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
