Mini meatloaf burgers served
on hamburger buns.

Burgers
- 1 cup tomato ketchup
1/2 cup water
1/3 cup chopped onion
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
3 tablespoons cider or white distilled vinegar
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 pounds ground beef
3/4 cup quick-cooking oats
1 cup evaporated milk
3 tablespoons chopped onions
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
10 hamburger buns
- Combine ketchup, water,
chopped onion, sugar, vinegar, and Worcestershire sauce in a
saucepan; simmer for 15 minutes.
- Combine ground beef, oats,
evaporated milk, chopped onion, salt, and pepper; mix well. Shape
into patties about 3/4-inch thick. Cook over medium heat in a
large skillet until browned, turning once.
- Arrange the patties in
a baking dish. Pour the ketchup mixture on top.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for about 40
minutes. Serve with hamburger buns.
