A very tasty, and easy,
South-of-the-Border ground pork and chile filling for burritos,
tacos, etc.
Pork
El Dorado
- 1 pound ground pork
1 (4-ounce) can diced green chilies
1 package taco seasoning mix
3/4 cup water
1 cup sour cream
1/2 lettuce, chopped
- In a skillet, brown ground
pork until cooked through. Drain. Stir in chopped green chili
peppers, taco seasoning mix, and water. Bring to a boil, reduce
the heat, and simmer, uncovered, for 5 to 10 minutes.
- Serve rolled in flour
tortillas with sour cream and chopped lettuce.
Makes 4 servings.
