Fast and tasty, your whole family will enjoy this easy cheesy, sausage and pasta skillet supper.

Quick Skillet Sausage and Pasta

8 ounces pasta (ziti, rotini, penne, etc.)
1 pound Italian sausage, crumbled
1 bunch green onions, cut in 1-inch lengths, including green
2 garlic cloves, finely minced
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 (14-ounce) can diced tomatoes with juice
1 (15-ounce) container ricotta cheese
1/4 cup cream or milk
1/2 cup chopped fresh basil
Salt and pepper to taste
Freshly grated Parmesan cheese for accompaniment
  1. Cook pasta according to package directions.
  2. Meanwhile, in large skillet, cook crumbled sausage, green onions and garlic in oil until sausage is cooked through. Add tomatoes, ricotta cheese, cream and basil and simmer on low for 5 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  3. Remove from heat, stir in cooked pasta. Serve with a sprinkling of Parmesan.

Makes 4 to 6 servings.
