This recipe for bolognese, a traditional Italian meat sauce, is a delicious and quick method to make a great sauce. Serve over spaghetti or your favorite pasta. Top with a garnish of freshly grated Parmesan cheese to add an extra flavor dimension.
1 pound lean ground beef
1/2 medium onion, chopped
1 (15-ounce) can tomato sauce
3 MAGGI Garlic Flavor Seasoning Cubes, crushed
1 tablespoon granulated sugar
1 teaspoon dried oregano
Hot, cooked spaghetti pasta
Freshly grated Parmesan cheese for sprinkling (optional)
- Cook beef and onion in large saucepan over medium-high heat until beef is no longer pink.
- Add tomato sauce, crushed seasoning cubes, sugar and oregano; mix well. Bring to a boil; reduce heat to low. Cook for 8 minutes. Serve with spaghetti; top with Parmesan cheese.
