Halloween Ghost Cookies

1 cup white chocolate chips
1 teaspoon vegetable shortening
12 oblong shaped vanilla cream-filled sandwich cookies
24 miniature chocolate chips
  1. Microwave chocolate and shortening in small microwaveable bowl on HIGH 1 to 1 1/2 minutes, stirring after 45 seconds. Stir until chips are completely melted.
  2. Coat the cookies with melted chocolate. Place on a sheet of wax paper and position two miniature chocolate chips for the "ghostly" eyes.
  3. Let stand until chocolate is set.

Makes 6 servings, 2 cookies each.
