Holiday Cheese Ball

No recipe image available.Horseradish adds great flavor and pizzazz to this holiday cheese ball.

Recipe Ingredients:

8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
16 ounces sharp cheddar cheese spread, room temperature
1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
2 tablespoons horseradish
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
3/4 cup pecans, finely chopped

Assorted crackers for accompaniment

Cooking Directions:

  1. In bowl, add all ingredients, except pecans. Mix well and chill at least 2 hours.
  2. Spread pecans on sheet of waxed paper. Using a spatula, shape cheese mixture into a ball and roll out on the pecans. Cover with pecans.
  3. Keep refrigerated until serving.
  4. Serve with assorted crackers.

Makes 12 appetizer servings.
