These Kris Kringle Peanut Butter Cups are the perfect cookies to leave out with a glass of milk on that special night for Santa.
Kris Kringle Peanut Butter Cups
- 36 NESTLÉ BUTTERFINGER Jingles, unwrapped
1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter or margarine, softened
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/3 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Beat brown sugar, granulated sugar, butter and peanut butter in large mixer bowl until combined. Beat in egg and vanilla extract. Gradually beat in flour and baking soda.
- Drop dough by rounded teaspoon into ungreased mini-muffin cups.
- Bake for 8 to 10 minutes. Remove from oven; gently press 1 Nestlé Jingle into each cup. Cool in pans on wire racks for 10 minutes. Remove cookies from muffin cups with a butter knife. Serve warm or cool completely on wire racks.
Makes 3 dozen cookies.
Cook's Note: Try substituting NESTLÉ CRUNCH Jingles.
