Try sifting the powdered sugar through
a paper doily to create a more definitive snowflake design on
these star and round-shaped brownies.

Brownies
- 1 (21-ounce) package brownie mix
- 1 star cookie cutter
- 1 round cookie cutter
- Powdered sugar, sifted
- Heat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line
13x9-inch baking pan with foil, with ends of foil extending over
sides of pan. Grease foil.
- Prepare brownie mix according to package
directions and spread into prepared pan.
- Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until wooden
pick inserted in center comes out with moist crumbs. (Do not
over bake.) Cool in pan. Run knife around edge of pan to loosen
brownies from sides. Lift brownies from pan, using foil handles.
Place brownies on cutting board. Remove foil and cut with cut into star and round shapes using
cookie cutters.
- Sift cut-outs with powdered
sugar for snowflake effect.
Make about 24 stars, dependent on size
of cookie cutter.
