Margherita
- 1/2 cup BUITONI Refrigerated
Marinara Sauce
2 mini 8-inch whole wheat pizza crusts (such as Boboli)
2 small Roma tomatoes, thinly sliced
4 ounces thinly sliced part skim mozzarella cheese
About 2 tablespoons small fresh basil leaves (shredded, if desired)
- Preheat oven to 425°F
(220°C).
- Prepare focaccia dough
according to steps 1 and 2 of package directions, stirring in
toppings with flour and yeast.
- Place tomato slices over
dough; sprinkle with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Bake for 12 to 18 minutes
or until golden around edges. Cool in pan or on wire rack for
1 to 2 minutes. Sprinkle with basil just before serving.
Makes 2 pizzas, 4 servings
total.
