Spanakopita - Greek Spinach & Cheese Pie
A satisfying and delicious Greek spinach and cheese pie.
3 large eggs
6 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 (10-ounce) package frozen, chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
2 cups cottage cheese
2 cups Wisconsin cheddar cheese, shredded
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 dash cream of tartar
1 tablespoon minced onion
- Preheat oven to 350ºF (175ºC).
- Beat eggs with flour until smooth. Mix in remaining ingredients.
- Pour into well-buttered two-quart casserole.
- Bake uncovered for one hour.
