Candy Bar Pie
Here's a recipe for chocolate cream pie that is so easy, it's almost effortless!
8 ounces milk chocolate candy bar*, chopped
1 (8-ounce) container frozen nondairy whipped topping, thawed
1 (9-inch) graham cracker pie crust
- In a large bowl, microwave chopped chocolate candy bar on MEDIUM until melted, about 3 minutes, stirring after 1 minute, and thereafter every 30 seconds; stir and cool slightly. (Be careful not to burn the chocolate. Chocolate may also be melted in a double-boiler.)
- Stir in non-dairy whipped topping then spoon into a graham cracker pie crust. Refrigerate.
Makes 8 servings.
*Or, may use milk chocolate chips.
